I create joyful art with vibrant colors and dynamic compositions, blending influences from Saul Bass, Sister Corita Kent, and the Memphis design movement. Using printmaking and collage, I explore themes of identity and societal dynamics. My goal is to transport viewers, stirring emotions and igniting wonder in compact, positive artwork that invites everyone to experience the joy of art.

HOW MANY INSTRUMENTS DO YOU PLAY?

Well, the answer is “yes,” because as someone with a music education degree, I can play all of the main wind, percussion, and string instruments well enough to teach beginners through high school in a band or orchestra setting. Plus, you know, recorder, Orff instruments, classroom percussion, Boomwhackers… but what you probably want to know is:

WHAT INSTRUMENTS DO YOU PLAY WELL?

Hah! Now that’s the question! I have played the piano since I was three, and I also play trombone, euphonium, and tuba. Those are the instruments I have studied. I also play guitar, ukulele, and bass, accordion, and I own a theremin that I like to play but do not play well.

DO YOU SING?

Yep. I can fill all your contralto novelty singer needs.

HOW ABOUT COMPOSING AND ARRANGING?

I do that too! I love to compose and arrange - I’m currently working on a some original Grade 1/2 beginning band music, but I’ve written jingles, podcast themes, and arranged for bands of all levels.
